Food Safety & Certifications
Both facilities implement a thorough HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) plan for food handling. The Los Angeles Plant is licensed by the FDA and LA Public Health Department as a certified seafood processor and interstate shellfish shipper. Food safety, quality control, documentation and proper handling is of the upmost importance to our staff and is integrated throughout the entire procurement, production and distribution process. With these food safety systems in place, Quantum Foods is also an approved and registered federal contractor and set up to service a wide range of government institutions.
